Story:

Total Home Health Solutions started (THHS) working with Mr. & Mrs S. after she was hospitalized with a UTI and required 24/7 care upon release. Mrs. S. had right-sided paralysis secondary to a stroke several years prior and a new diagnosis of dementia. She required total home care assistance with mobility, transfers, grooming, diapering, nutrition and medication. THHS worked in tandem with her hospice provider and were able to keep her in her home where she passed away peacefully 2 years later. We remained an additional two years providing companionship, transportation, and meal prep for Mr. S, who often told us if he didn’t have our team around, he would have succumbed to grief and loneliness. He also passed away peacefully in his own home.

Reflecting back on our time with Dana and her team brings a smile to my face. Hiring Total Home Health Solutions was one of the greatest things I could do as a daughter. Her compassion for my mother did not go un-noticed. In her wealth of knowledge, she was able to communicate to my father in terms he could understand. Dementia and Aphasia left my mother to be cared for 24/7. With the help of Dana and her team, I was able to keep my mother in the comfort of her own home and spend her days with my dad….the love of her life. When I wasn’t with them, I knew I never had to worry that they were being loved and cared for just like family.
