Story:

Phyliss had fallen and broken her hip. Post surgery and 6 weeks in a rehab facility, she was able to go home with 24/7 care. Her only daughter lives in California and she was recently widowed, so her family reached out to Total Home Health Solutions for assistance. Phyliss required assistance with ADL’s (activities of daily living), mobility & transfers, meal prep and transportation. THHS, helped her remain in her home for 1 year and was part of her transition team to an assisted living community in Mooresville. Even after her move to assisted living, we were able to provide companion care several hours a day. As Phyliss’s health declined, we became adjunct caregivers working with her hospice team to support both Phyliss and her family.

I have known Dana for the past 10 years and have worked directly with her and her team as they cared for my aunt during the last part of her life. Dana is an incredible nurse who is compassionate and very thorough as to making sure the needs of my aunt were met as her health declined. She and her team were there the final days and moments of her life, which was a significant comfort and support for me. They were always very precise when explaining what was happening and what to expect from a health perspective. I put my utmost faith and confidence in Dana and her care team.
